Isabel Marant F/W 09

Endelig har jeg skaffet meg et par lårhøye støvletter. Jeg har siden i fjor høst ventet på at det rette paret skulle dukke opp. Kriteriene var semsket skinn og ikke stilletthæl. Noe lignende Isabel Marant sine. De jeg endte opp med har jeg hatt i siktet i høst, men ikke visst hvor jeg skulle få tak i siden de var utsolgt. Det var helt til Chique.se tok dem inn igjen, et par fra Friis&Co ved navn Lonnie som du kan finne her. De ble også brukt i Margit Brandt SS10 showet. Jeg lover å gi dere egne bilder senere.

Finally I’ve got myself a pair of thigh high boots. I’ve been waiting for the right pair to come along since last fall. They had to be suede and not stiletto heel. Something similar to the ones from Isabel Marant. The ones I ended up with I’ve been aiming at this fall, but not knowing where to get as they were sold out. That was until Chique.se took them back in, a pair from Friis&Co by the name Lonnie that you can find here. They were also used in the Margit Brandt SS10 show. I promise to show my own pictures later.

I have been on vacation at the cabin with my family the last week so I’m a little after on the most recent collections. Tidlig torsdag morgen (klokka 10 hehe) sist uke dro vi til Oslo Fashion Fair hvor vi var invitert til en pressefrokost. Etter presentasjonen ble vi guidet rundt i lokalene hvor vi fikk se noen av nyhetene for høsten. Avbildet ovenfor er noen av tingene vi fikk se. Vi møtte også andre norske bloggere som Mari, Line og Stian. Ellers møtte jeg jo mange av dere lesere den uka jeg var i Oslo. Det var veldig gøy! 

Early morning (at 10 hehe) Thursday last week we went to Oslo Fashion Fair where we were invited to a press breakfast at Oslo Fashion Fair. After the presentation we were guided around the area where we got to see some of the news for fall. Pictured above are some of the things we saw. We also met some other norwegian bloggers like Mari, Line and Stian. Apart from that I met many of you readers in Oslo. That was fun!

I går shoppet jeg med ei venninne og spontant poppet det ut av meg “Jeg hater meg selv!” etter å ha innsett at ca 8 av de 10 tingene jeg bar rundt på var sorte. Jeg plukker stadig sorte plagg uten å engang merke det. Jeg trenger virkelig å åpne øynene mine for farger, og disse bildene fra den nye Minimarket kolleksjonen inspirerer meg definitivt til å se forbi det sorte.

Yesterday I was shopping with a friend and I spontaneously shouted out “I hate myself!” after realizing that about 8 out of 10 items I was carrying were black. I keep picking all the black without even being aware of it. I really need to open my eyes for colors, and these pictures of the new Minimarket collection definitely inspire me to look beyond black.
