Chloé-esque

Boots from Bronx

I denne omgang fant jeg overraskende nok to par!

Finally I got these boots from Bronx! They’re a good alternative to the fabulous Chloé boots that I can only dream about. Taking a break from heels once in a while will be great so these shoes are very much welcome. To find flats that I like is really a problem. This time I found two pairs, surprisingly enough. Now I’m waiting impatiently for the second one to arrive..

Deep forest

Lately I’ve been obsessed with floor-long dresses and skirts. I’m not quite sure about how good it will look on a short person (aka. me), but I’m satisfied with admiring it on others for now. Another obsession is lipcolor. I recently found a shade of red that I feel suits me. Now I find myself craving other colors as well. It’s a small detail that really makes a difference to any outfit.

Maya Vik

Maya Vik, the girl who plays bass in the band Montée, is one of the most stylish girls in Norway if you ask me. Her style is amazing. And she’s definitely one of those to blame for my desire to have a blonde afro. That hair gives the little extra to any outfit. She’s hands down gorgeous.

Monki

Monki

After spending the last week on the sofa it was good to recieve happy news today. It’s probably not interesting for others except from those who live near my city but; Monkigirl is comming to Kristiansand. Basics with an interesting twist to affordable prices makes Monki one of my favorites. I’m looking forward to it! In addition to opening a store in Kristiansand they will open stores in Bergen and Oslo as well. Click on the image to visit Monki’s webpage where you can see the current collection.

My dream is no longer a dream

DIY | H&M customized bustier

This is the end result of the bustier I was working on. It looks even better IRL and I must say I’m very pleased with the way it turned out! One of you asked how I attached the pearls; I used thread and a needle. But instead of sewing on one and one, I attached as many as I could on the same thread. That way is so much faster. It din’t take much time at all to finish this so it’s a pretty easy DIY. This has definitely made me want to try some more DIYs.

Jeg anbefaler dere å sjekke ut bloggen hennes her.

While I was on vacation I recieved some photos from Line that she took for the magazine [mag] for a streetstyle section when I was in Oslo this summer. The photo she chose is in the current issue. I recommend you to check out her blog here. I’m always amazed when she posts behind the scenes photos from photoshoots and her style is inspirational as well.

Dreamy dresses

Givenchy Spring 2010

There is something about the sheer draping fabric and neutral colors that really attract me.
Just like Karoline I fell for these dreamy dresses. You should check her blog if you haven’t.
I have been on the look for something similar to this. Finally I have a image of what I want.
You can see more of the collection here on style.com.

.

I have been on vacation at the cabin with my family the last week so I’m a little after on the most recent collections. It was great to come home and see so many updates on style.com. You can expect to see more posts like this the following days. Some of you may have seen what I post before, but I don’t think it will hurt you to see it again.
