Costume party: Four seasons

Inspiration: This gorgeous (!) dress by Maria (Vanillascented)
Selfmade winter costume | American Apparel silver tube bra
I work at a nightclub and we were having a party for the employees. The theme was “wear clothes that aren’t actually clothes (garments).” I had no plan of what to wear until the day before the party. Me and some girls I work with decided in the last minute to dress as the four seasons. I ended up with being winter and immediately thought about Marias feather dress where she used feather boas to make a fluffy feather skirt. It would be perfect for winter as it resembled snow.
I sew the boas onto a a pair of white jersey shorts so that the skirt wouldn’t slide up. As a top I wrapped some fabric around that I attached to an American Apparel silver tube bra. When it comes to make-up I painted my face white with a shiny eyeshadow and used a light blue one around my eyes. This whole costume was made in the last hour before the party so it’s very quickly done for those who wants to try.

Oh wow Lena, you look pretty! Your dress is stunning for something you did last minute. I also love the blue stars stuck all over your skin. It adds a magical touch. Thank you for the clear but concise instructions. I just might try it.
